Oklahoma's Road Rage Still Among Worst In The Nation

Oklahoma has recently bounced back from having a reputation as a rude state, now among the most polite places to visit in America... but behind the wheel, all bets are off.

According to the study, Oklahoma still has one of the highest road rage problems in the country.

Granted, we've talked before about all of the things that irk us behind the wheel, but it's almost always someone with Texas plates causing the problem... At least in the Southern half of the state. In Northern OK, it's almost always Kansas drivers.

According to a Forbes study, Oklahoma has the fourth-highest number of road rage incidents based on what people answering the poll questions have experienced... which isn't so bad. The Sooner State was ranked #1 as the worst just one year ago.

Oklahoma is also #2 in the nation for throwing up a one-finger salute in traffic.

Sooner State drivers are also ranked pretty high for calling the police when someone won't let them merge in traffic... but if you've driven enough in the packed cities of OKC and Tulsa, you know dialing 911 because you tried to cut to the front of the line is a like peeing your pants and then changing your shirt. Drivers who do that deserve to sit in traffic.

Oklahoma is also ranked 5th for using our horns while in traffic, which can be a legitimate way of communicating with others.

Are Oklahoma drivers really that angry? And do we really go snitching that often?
