Oklahoma’s Favorite Gas Station Brand is a No Brainer
I know it's weird to think there's a favorite gas station brand anywhere there isn't a Buc-ee's, but it's true. Oklahoma has an overwhelming favorite, and they're practically underdogs.

If you remember, the Sooner State has been on a convenience store roller-coaster for the last few years. New players have entered the state and others have quietly sold off and disappeared.
Notable examples: Hutch's has been slowly growing into Oklahoma, primarily SWOK and the Panhandle. Allsup's is also slowly growing their presence in the Sooner State, converting Okies to love their humble fried burritos.
EZ-GO was one of the most identifiable of Oklahoma's original brands, but they cashed in on a whim from the other Sooner State original Love's. Stillwater's OnCue has built an empire up the I-35 corridor, but none of them were able to take the crown to be named Oklahoma's favorite.
It was Oklahoma's oldest convenience store brand.
Founded in Tulsa back in the 1950s, QT is one of those gas stations where the experience is one that is unique to all. As the brand has evolved, grown, shrunk, and bolstered into a permanent home in Northeast Oklahoma (and all across the Midwest), it's more of a drink and food stop that happens to sell fuel also.
Honestly, fifteen feet of roller grills. Dozens and dozens of fountain drink taps. A made-to-order fresh pizza kitchen - QT is on their A-Game in 2024.
Chalk it up to being one of those "If you know, you know" types of things, but it's true. There's nothing in Oklahoma like Quiktrip - voted #1 by Oklahomans.
