Here's the thing, there are far more famous and impressionable Okies out there than anyone truly realizes... and to convolude the subject even more, not all great Okies are actually Okies... in the same sense that being Texan doesn't mean you were born in Texas. That's important to keep in mind since more than half of these great Okies were born long before Oklahoma was even a state.
