Possible Alcohol Shortage in Oklahoma This Holiday Season

Looks like there's another shortage headed our way and this one could be the one that ends all of humanity.

We're talking about a radical end of days, apocalyptic kind of shortage that would forever change life as we know it. Some real Road Warrior Mad Max kind of stuff that could transform the world into a barren wasteland. It's possible that we could be facing an alcohol shortage here in Oklahoma and the rest of the country. Experts think it could happen right around the holidays when we need alcohol the most!

Last week we told you about a possible toy shortage this holiday season and now this. As we get closer and closer to the holidays it seems that more and more products will be sold out and out of stock.

So why are we facing so many shortages? We can thank COVID-19 for this. I'm wondering when the day will get here that we finally stop feeling the effects of the pandemic. It continues to wreak havoc on supply lines and shipping. We'll continue to see shortages until the supply chain is completely restored.

We've had to endure several shortages over the past year or two. Everything from toilet paper, meat, cleaning products, milk to water and gasoline. Now it's looking like the next thing that will be in short supply will be alcohol and toys. As we approach the 2021 holiday season there's a real concern about additional shortages across the U.S. due to all the supply chain delays, disruptions, and backlogs.

You've probably heard about all the cargo ships still needing to reach the docks and unload, there are hundreds of ships off the coastline that are waiting to deliver their loads and are months behind schedule.

Once unloaded all the products have to be delivered to retailers and warehouses. Hopefully, things will improve and they can get the supply lines back to 100%. I wouldn't count on it though.

It wouldn't hurt to start getting stocked up before the holidays. Right now it looks like it's toys and alcohol that will be the biggest issue. It's the real Nightmare Before Christmas!
