After a Day 1 marathon that included a four-hour weather delay and concluded with an emotional tribute to Chris Cornell, fans regrouped for Day 2 of Rock on the Range 2017 in Columbus, Ohio, only to find out that weather would delay the day’s events again.

Thankfully, this time it was a relatively brief delay that occurred shortly after doors opened, and the day’s sets were able to go on as planned, all be it a bit later than originally scheduled.

Among the day's early highlights was a sensational set by Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes. The U.K. act will emerge as one of the most talked about bands at Rock on the Range, as singer Frank Carter is a cross between Johnny Rotten and Corey Taylor, delivering snarky and clever banter while whipping the crowd into an absolute frenzy.

Other early highlights included stellar sets by Starset, Alter Bridge, Turnstile and others, while the late afternoon featured strong performances from Seether, Skillet and more.

Papa Roach got the evening started right with an explosive set that even featured the Olentangy Orange High School marching band joining Jacoby Shaddix and company during "Born for Greatness." The Offspring then delivered a set filled with their hits, and Korn closed the night with an electrifying set that got cut short by a few songs as a lightning storm approached.
