We're minutes away from the main festival gates opening here for Rocklahoma 2021. It's been far too long since we've been here in Pryor, OK. at the "Catch the Fever Festival Fairgrounds." After last year's cancellation due to COVID-19 we're overdue for a three day weekend of live music that's for sure. The wait was extended some when festival organizers moved Rocklahoma to Labor Day weekend from Memorial Day weekend.

It's the calm before the storm walking the festival grounds getting ready for ROK21 to kick off. After setting up on "Radio Row" we toured the grounds to get the lay of the land and make plans for routes to stages and timing ourselves to make sure we can get their in time. We don't want to miss a single minute of it, especially after waiting so long to get back to concerts and festivals. The main festival gates open at 3:00pm with both the Renegade Stage and the Main/Freedom Stage starting up. Where just a few minutes away.

I was wondering about the crowd this year and wasn't too sure what to expect. On our way in today the campgrounds were packed and the parking lots was already getting full. I didn't know if COVID-19 would keep people away, or if they'd show up. It's looking like it will be a great crowd this weekend as people continue to make their way to Pryor, OK. for ROK21. I'll thinking by Saturday night it will be a close to record crowd.

If you're planning on making the trip to Rocklahoma this Labor Day weekend make sure to stop by "Radio Row" and hang out with us. Z94 will be here live all weekend long bringing you all the front row and backstage action and insanity of ROK21. It's great to be back and I'm looking forward to day one. A BIG THANKS to EZ-GO for sponsoring the "Road to Rocklahoma." Thanks too to AEG Presents for letting us invade on them. It's going to be an EPIC weekend for sure. The gates are now open...It's time to ROCK!
