When Jonah Hill graced the 'SNL' stage last night, he wasn't just a very funny comic actor -- he was a two-time Oscar nominated thespian with Very Important Things to say. The only problem is that no one cared about Hill. They only cared about his 'The Wolf of Wall Street' co-star Leonardo DiCaprio and all of the cast members strategically placed in the audience made sure to let him know this.

If you think this opening monologue set-up is just an excuse to get Mr. DiCaprio himself to show up for a brief but unforgettable appearance ... you're right.

Surprise celebrity cameos in opening monologues are common on 'SNL,' but this has got to be one of the absolute best and you've got to admire Hill for being such a great sport. After all, the big joke here is "Jonah Hill is good, but Leonardo DiCaprio is GREAT." But then the two of them re-enact that scene from 'Titanic' and your brain explodes because you can't quite believe what you're seeing. God bless you, Messieurs Hill and DiCaprio. What a way to start an episode of 'SNL.'

Of course, the only downside to this is that we're going to stop talking about how good Hill was up on the 'SNL' stage (and he was very good) and start wondering when they'll be able to snag DiCaprio for an entire episode. After all, if they can get Martin Scorsese to appear on the show, why can't they get his muse?
