Who doesn't love a bargain?  Not this girl!  I love the hunt for that one perfect addition to my collection of collectibles.  That one thing that people will say where did you ever find this...

That's why I love a garage sale!  Any size, shape or form.  And this garage is super special because it benefits the youth that work it.

Last year, the St. John Lutheran Church Youth Garage Sale had to be cancelled because of social distancing guidelines and the ban on public gatherings.  As you can imagine, it was disappointing, because the youth group depends on  proceeds of this sale for many of the activities that they do throughout the year.

We are so excited to announce that this year the sale is back!  It's Friday and Saturday, May 7-8, from 8am-3pm each day in the Fellowship Hall of St. John's Lutheran Church, 102 SW 7th Street in downtown Lawton. This will be their biggest sale ever.  Items include kitchen goods, Tupperware, and glassware, plus bigger items like a fireplace insert and patio furniture.

Garage sale, yard sale old unwanted items and utensils.

I already have made plans to drop by first thing Friday morning, who knows what I can't resist? Now that we have the Party Deck built, we may just need a few extra metal folding chairs.  And, yes, they have some of those too!  Plus, I have the knowledge of knowing that whatever I buy the proceeds will be going to a very worthy cause.

If you are a bargain hunter, I'll see you Friday and Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in the Fellowship Hall.  But be warned, you will need to stay out of my way!
