Intriguing Survey Reveals We May Be Addicted to the Internet
Perhaps the only thing better than being connected is staying connected.
According to a new British survey, “the average person uses some form of internet-connected device 34 times a day.”
Participants spent two hours and 12 minutes each day using a device and 46% actually used two or three at the same time.
Smartphones also seem to be a way to divert our attention, with 52% saying they’d rather check their phones than think when they have nothing else to do. And 37% admit to checking their phone when conversation with friends reaches a quiet point. Another 44% say phones make their commute better.
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got to go tweet this news to everyone who follows us.
