Bluepeak Breaks Ground in Lawton, Get Ready for Fiber Optic!

Earlier this morning Bluepeak broke ground in Lawton, Fort Sill out on the west side, near the corner of Cache Road and 82nd Street. The open field between Academy Sports and Classic Chevrolet. Get ready for high-speed fiber optic internet in Lawton, OK! Work will begin immediately and they hope to start servicing customers with up to 5-GB internet by this Fall. Looking forward to it and Bluepeak's lightning-fast speeds.

So who is this new company that's coming to town? You can get more information about them at the official website and on their Facebook page. Now that all the details with teh City of Lawton are all worked out Bluepeak will begin the process of laying fiber optic cable both in-ground and above. It's estimated that they'll be investing over 40 million dollars in upgrades and infrastructure around Lawton, Fort Sill to support the new service. Most if not all of Lawton will have access to fiber-optic internet!

The new service will be fiber optic internet and offer speeds up to 5-GB for households and up to 10-GB for businesses. According to Bluepeak, their internet is beyond lightning fast and there are no hidden fees, red tape, or extra charges. The plan you pick is exactly what you pay and what you actually get.

Bluepeak is no stranger to Oklahoma they're already in several different locations across the state and will soon be coming to Lawton, Fort Sill. From what we're hearing it looks like they'll also expand into Duncan and Chickasha as well. That's some great and welcomed news for all of Southwest Oklahoma!
