Coming up this Wednesday, May 12th (05-12-21) the CCHD (Comanche County Health Department) will be hosting a drive thru COVID-19 vaccination event at the Great Plains Coliseum located at 920 South Sheridan Road from 8:00am until 6:00pm. You can just pull in and get your shot and no appointment is necessary. All persons that are age 16 plus are eligible. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to get vaccinated.

The OBI (Oklahoma Blood Institute) is asking for your help. Going on today at the Great Plains Coliseum 920 S.W. Sheridan Road from 10:00am until 4:00pm the OBI will be holding a blood drive. The Great Plains Coliseum and Comanche County Fairgrounds in Lawton has reopened after being closed for the past several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sunday night, the men and women of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) invaded the Great Plains Coliseum on the Comanche County Fairgrounds in Lawton, and from the smiles on the faces of those in attendance, I would say it was a successful take-over.
The outcome was in doubt until the last second, the final shot, but long before the buzzer sounded the Harlem Globetrotters won the hearts of hundreds in attendance at the Great Plains Coliseum Monday night.
