The new Texas legislature will be looking into several new gun laws in the new year, including one that ends the ban on the open carry of handguns.

Yet another example of how an armed citizen prevented what could have become a tragedy.

If you're just now considering applying for an Oklahoma C.C.W. (Concealed Carry Weapons) permit or recently submitted an application you could be in for a long wait.

Last week the Oklahoma Senate passed a bill (S.B. 1733) that would allow Oklahomans  with a valid concealed weapons permit the option of carrying their firearms either concealed or openly, holstered in public. Governor Mary Fallin (R) is expected to sign the new bill into law by this Thursday (05-17-12).

Earlier this week, George Zimmerman was charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

It's certainly no secret that yours truly loves guns and loves the "Gunny". Both come together for this hilarious commercial for the 2012 "Trigger The Vote" voter registration campaign.
