Following the sudden death of guitarist and keyboardist Paul Raymond, UFO have confirmed their upcoming tour will go on. Fans of the British rock band will be pleased to know they're honoring all the dates on their "Last Orders" tour, which kicks off this summer in Europe before heading to the U.S. in the fall.

UFO took to their official Facebook page to announce the news that former member Neil Carter will join the band on what will be their final U.S. tour. Carter was in UFO between 1981 and 1983 and played on three albums: The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent, Mechanix and Making Contact.

The group’s statement reads: “On April 13, 2019, the UFO family got the tragic news that our bandmate Paul Raymond had died of a heart attack. It had been just a week since we finished the first leg of our 'Last Orders' tour in the U.K. While mourning his loss, sadly we also had to face the reality of what to do with the band. We feel moving forward with the tour is the right thing to do. We all know this is what Paul would have wanted us to do.”

The post continues, “Together with Neil, we will bring our 2019 'Last Orders' tour to a close. We want to make sure that all our amazing fans get a fantastic experience out of it one more time.”

Paul Raymond passed away on April 13 after suffering a heart attack. Prior to the guitarist's death, frontman Phil Mogg had already announced the band’s upcoming tour would be his last. “This decision has been a long time coming. I’ve considered stepping down at the end of UFO’s previous tours in 2016,” Mogg explained. “I don’t want to call this a farewell tour as I hate that word, but this year’s gigs will represent my final tap-dancing appearances with the band.”

UFO will take the stage in Hanover, Germany on June 7. The group will launch their U.S. tour on Oct. 9 in San Francisco, Calif. Armored Saint and Blue Oyster Cult will join the band on certain dates. For ticketing on their tour dates, click here.
