Veteran’s Day 2013 – Discounts and Offers From Local Lawton Merchants and Franchises

In honor of Veteran’s Day, many food franchises have expressed that to show their appreciation to our Veterans and Active Duty Service Members; they’d like to offer an excessive discount (many in the form of a free meal). We took the liberty of sharing some generous discounts offered to Veterans on November 11, 2013. All listings below require military I.D. or proof of service. A few are also noted to only be offered at select locations, so we suggest you kindly ask prior to ordering.

Ace Jiffy Lube - Veterans and Active Duty military receive a 50% discount on a Signature Service Oil Change.

Applebee’s – Free meal to Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

Bed Bath & Beyond – Bed Bath & Beyond is offering Veterans 20% off their entire purchase on November 9, 10, and 11. This is good for Active Duty, DoD, Reserves, National Guard, Retirees, Veterans, and military spouses.

Chili’s – Free choice of 1 of 7 meals during dinner, or any lunch combo to Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

Denny’s – Free All-You-Can-Eat pancakes from 6 a.m. – 2 p.m. for all Military Veterans, Retirees, and Active Duty Service Members.

Dollar General – Veterans, Active Military, members of the National Guard and Reserve and immediate family members get 11% off the total purchase

Golden Corral – Free Military Appreciation Dinner (4 – 9 p.m.) for Military Retirees, Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard, Reserves.

Great Clips – Customers who come in for a service can get a free haircut card to give to their favorite Veteran. Veterans can also receive a free haircut or get the free haircut card. Haircuts are redeemable until December. 31.

JCPenney – Veterans, Active Duty and family members receive an extra 20% off in stores Nov. 6-11 with coupon.

Krispy Kreme – Free doughnut and small coffee to Military Veterans, Retirees, and Active Duty Service Members.

Little Caesar’s Pizza – Free Crazy Bread to all Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

Longhorn Steakhouse – November 11 – 14 – Free Texas Tonion appetizer and non-alcoholic beverage for Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

Oklahoma City Zoo – Free admission to all Active Duty, Active Reserve, and Retiress and up to five guests receive free admission to the zoo.

Olive Garden – Free entrée (from a select menu) to include garlic breadsticks and choice of soup or salad. Plus, all current military members and their families will receive 10% discount throughout all of November in honor of their Military Family Appreciation Month.

Outback Steakhouse – Free Bloomin’ Onion and non-alcoholic beverage to Military Veterans and Active Service Members. Plus, 10% off your purchase from November 12 – December 31.

Red Lobster – Free appetizer (from a select list) for Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

Sport Clips – Participating locations are offering Veterans and Active Duty Service Members free haircuts.

Starbucks – Former and Active Duty Service Members and their spouses get a free tall brewed coffee.

Stripes - Offering free sausage biscuit and a coffee to veterans until 10 a.m.

Subway – Free 6 inch sub or flatbread to Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members at select locations.

Texas Roadhouse – (Beginning at 11 a.m.) Free lunch (choose 1 of 10 meals from a select menu) to Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

Under Armor – Veterans and Active Duty Service Members get 15% off plus free shipping on all orders from now until Monday, November 11.

Walgreens – Walgreens is offering 15% off eligible store items and 20% of Walgreens, Nice! And W brand products . This discount is available to all Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel.
