Remember way back. Probably somewhere between third and sixth grade, most students are introduced to music literacy through the humble recorder. A wind instrument that's made for pennies, sold for dollars, and just about every person can remember playing one at least once. But did you know the recorder was a legit instrument?

Meet Maurice Steger. An accomplished "master" recorder instrumentalist. He takes what the average person learns about playing a recorder and turns it up to eleven. Straight up recorder gangster. It's hilarious to watch him perform, because it's a recorder and he's so intense, but it's also such a talent that commands respect.

He's performed all over the world, sold many albums of his concertos, and is renowned in his unique place in symphony. Hit play, be amazed, and watch this dude shred.
