All 50 State Stereotypes In Two Minutes
Looking at the various stereotypes from around the country, Oklahoma could have done a lot worse. All the same, a lot has changed since 2011. I'm sure Colorado is no longer plagued by cocaine, Oklahoma has different worries besides tornadoes at the moment, and I'm sure the Dakota's are still lifeless terrible places to live. That being said, at least we have something going for us.
Imagine, we're finally instituting somewhat modern beer laws in the state this year. We're voting on medical marijuana. Our teachers shut down the government for a few days with little results... but everyone is focused on tornadoes. Which, given the time of year, that's a good thing to focus on right now. We've been super lucky so far this Spring. It's been cool enough to put a damper on severe weather, but it also hasn't rained much at all. Now I'm not superstitious enough to think that our light-weather April will somehow lead to an overreaching May, as if we're due a quota of twisters or something... but May is traditionally the month of dark skies. We'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
