Whether you travel the roads a lot, or you just have a habit of hitting your local gas station for a quick pop and a snack, Oklahoma agrees that not all convenience store fare is the same... Here's the rundown on the elite foods.

Now, if you're the type to grab a candy, maybe a bag of chips, and a pop... all gas stations are equal. But if you're the adventurous eater in your family, there are some real delicacies out on the highways.

At the Downtown Z Studios, it was a topic that came up when hearing about Dani's (from PopCrush) trip to Korea over the holidays. She talked about how amazing the foods are at Asia's 7-Elevens.

KLAW's Jeri Anderson does as much traveling as I do too, so we sat down and had it out over what was the best. Well, we couldn't agree on what was THE best, so it's just an in general.

I think it's fair to say that each state probably has its own legends when it comes to restaurants. Pennsylvania has cheesesteaks, New York has wings and pizza, Texas has Franklin BBQ and Tex-Mex, etc...

Oklahoma is no different.

Birthed into statehood as a cattle state, there's no shortage of beef on any menu here, but there's a little room for chicken and fries too. Here are the absolute, hands down, best restaurants, in no particular order, everyone has to try in The Sooner State.
