Boys From Oklahoma Concert Sold Tickets Worldwide
Just a week ago, the early estimate for The Boys From Oklahoma concert event turned out to be on the conservative side. Last Friday, the number of fans who showed up was expected to be at or just over 180,000 people. Today, that number is just over 200,000 people.
This concert was way bigger than anyone expected it to be. It's the only verified single concert in history to have sold tickets to fans in all 50 states across the country, but ticket sales also extended beyond the US borders.
Granted, the out-of-country numbers are small. Canada purchased 29 tickets to the show. Israel picked up 2, and one dedicated fan in Buenos Aires, Argentina, bought a ticket.
No wonder Cody Canada jested that The Boys From Oklahoma could be happening again next year. Those are some crazy numbers.
Between the epic way the show went on Thursday, with a now meme-famous CCR walkout to Taylor Swift's We Are Never Getting Back Together...

It's no wonder this is being floated around, talked about in large circles as a legitimate contender to become one of the largest music festivals in the country. The Red Dirt Coachella, just without all the annoying influencers and a few more drunken brawls in the crowd.
Regardless of what the future holds, this could be huge, but a betting man might suggest it was huge because it was supposed to be a one-and-done type of reunion mega-show.
I think Oklahoma can pull it off again, and again, and again.
