Sports fans know him as a Hall of Famer 4-Super Bowl winning Pittsburg Steeler Quarterback and NFL commentator. Younger people might remember him as the naked room dad in Failure to Launch. Regardless, everyone knows who Terry Bradshaw is.

What you may not have known is Terry Bradshaw has been a rural Oklahoma resident for about twenty years. Living just North of the Texas border outside of Thackerville since Texas taxes skyrocketed around the turn of the century.

For all intents and purposes, Terry Bradshaw built a sprawling nearly-750 acre quarter horse ranch in the middle of nowhere to serve as his home away from the spotlight, a place to raise his kids. Now has come the time Terry is ready to move on and start again somewhere new. His ranch is for sale to whoever can come up with the $22.5million to purchase it.

I know it's been somewhat of a fashion trend to have a ranch these last few years, blame Yellowstone for that, living on a ranch is the dream for a lot of people... but while it seems ideal, most people forget to account for the work it takes to own property like that.

Terry Bradshaw's ranch exists for one reason, his love of horses. He's been studding and raising quarter horses there for twenty years on some real prime real estate. It's a real working ranch that can produce 200 head a year, weather willing. As you can understand, 2022 has not been a kind year to the farm and ranch industry, but that's not why Terry is selling off his dream home.

TB's Quarter Horse Ranch actually first listed on the market back in 2019. It made the rounds on the web and social media and quickly went under contract with a proposed buyer. After the pandemic, inflation, fuel costs, the lingering recession, and a deep drought, that original buyer fell away and things are just now looking up again.

With an 8600 square foot rustic home, barns, stables, corrals, chutes, ponds, and prime grazing lands, there's no telling how quickly someone will snap this up. The fact that it's an hour from Dallas makes it a prime deal for someone looking to continue working in DFW but live in luxury where the property taxes aren't ridiculously out of this world.
