It's time to get bruuuuutal! The riffs are heavy and sludgy, the vocals guttural and the double kick drum firing away on all cylinders in the new Broken Hope song Mutilated and Assimilated. The band recently debuted the lyric video for the title track of the album of the same name and you can check it out above.

The clip features a mix of performance footage turned animation, along with a visual storyline that centers on a monstrous alien thawed out for pure horror much like John Carpenter's classic The Thing. The clip features the artwork of Mark Rudolph.

The band told Decibel, who premiered the promo, “The video was directed by Tommy Jones, who uniquely wove in BH concert footage from Berlin with incredible storyboards by the great Mark Rudolph. Mark Rudolph worked hard to create these amazing storyboards -- much like legendary artist Mike Ploog did for the original movie."

Broken Hope's Mutilated and Assimilated album is due June 23 via Century Media Records. It's currently available for pre-order here and there are also merch bundles at this location.
