Who's hungry? Depending on your level of squeamishness, you may not feel those hunger pangs after finishing the gore-soaked video for Broken Hope's new song "The Carrion Eaters," which comes off their forthcoming seventh studio album, Mutilated and Assimilated.

We'll warn you once again: this video, directed by Maciej Pieloch, is graphic! Before the track kicks off, we see a dapper man dressed entirely in white, sitting behind a table with a blindfold. He gets the taste test of a lifetime, consuming chunks of raw meat and live insects while Broken Hope's bone-crunching riffing takes hold. Sliding rhythms accented by rapid fluctuations in tempo keep a sense of unpredictability present at all times, a perfect complement to the video's theme.

"I’m really proud of ‘The Carrion Eaters.’ It’s super-sick and catchy and rotten to the gore," exclaims guitarist and chief songwriter Jeremy Wagner, who tracked the album using Jeff Hanneman's personal guitars. He scooped up six of the late Slayer axeman's guitars before they hit auction and said, "Riffs are just flowing out of me," after the purchase.

Mutilated and Assimilated will see a June 23 release through Century Media and fans can pre-order the album be placed here where fans can explore a variety of options including digital and physical copies as well as bundle packages.
