When it comes to the idea of doing it yourself, this guy is on a whole new level. He took a saw into the Canadian woods and started cutting down the logs he needed to build an impressive one-man cabin. It's not the big expanse that one might see in Vale, but it looks big enough to weekend with.

The really impressive feat here is the use of hand tools. Brace and bits, hand sawing custom width boards. Of course, there had to be some gas powered milling in there somewhere, but sill... That's impressive. And he gets extra points for charring the roofing boards to seal and protect himself from the elements. It definitely calls for a celebratory Tim Hortons coffee and donut.
