Julian Batts, a freshman from Indiana University made one of the costliest mistakes in his life when he had attempted to solve a puzzle on the game show Wheel of Fortune.

Batts had practically solved the puzzle, all of the letters where there he just had to correctly say the answer which was Mythological Hero Achilles. Simple, right? Not if you mispronounce Achilles, which Batts pronounced it as A-Chill-Es rather than A-kil-es.

What's more questioning is Batts claims to be a honor student, it's a little odd that such an accomplished student had never heard the correct pronunciation from his studies. Any student, especially an honor student should be familiar and know about Greek Mythology.
