Famous Athletes You Might Not Know Came From Lawton

When it comes to famous Oklahomans, athletes probably don't get enough credit.

Oklahoma has produced plenty of legendary football players, basketball players, baseball players, and athletes in just about every other sport you can name. Some became household names. Others had long and impressive professional careers without ever becoming a name everybody recognized.

Then you start narrowing it down to individual towns, and that's where things get interesting.

Lawton has produced its share of famous people over the years, and athletes are a pretty impressive part of that list.

We've had professional football players, Major League Baseball players, Olympic athletes, and some pretty remarkable college stars come out of Lawton too.
