Lawton’s Diamondback Harley Is Expanding To Medicine Park
The story of Harley Davidson might be one of the enduring of American brands. Born in a garage, created by brothers and a childhood friend, it's an icon of this country that has had success and failures on a monumental scale. And yet in a time of changing trends, it still remains.
If you look around any event or place of travel in the United States, you'll see that the only thing popular than riding a Harley Davidson is wearing all of the branded clothing... and that's what is coming to Medicine Park very soon.
From boots to hats, the Harley Davidson can quite literally cover you from head to toe. An entire wardrobe of branded clothing and accessories, and it's not just the hardcore that dude themselves out in it.
I can remember getting a Harley t-shirt for christmas one year from the fun uncle. The whole lot of us made up a giant motorcycle-loving family and Harley was the king of the hill during that period of time. I'll even admit, the cheapy $15 wallet I bought from the Harley shop in Waikiki has lasted me the last fifteen years. The quality is there and the price was low, if it fails I'll order myself another.
The demand for HD's branded apparel is so high that our Lawton-local Diamondback HD is expanding its business into Medicine Park.
In a recent article, the idea to expand to SWOK's cobblestone village came shortly after the new owners acquired the Harley dealership back in 2019. Since Medicine Park is one of the first places anyone new to the area explores, seeing how many people were just taking in the sights and attractions was enough to plant that seed.
As Medicine Park expands, it seems they have events so often that selling HD apparel on site is certainly easier than asking patrons to travel to Lawton. It's a smart decision.
The grand opening is expected to happen later this month. Can't wait to see how they celebrate it.
