How Many Online Accounts Do You Have!

I consider myself to be an average person, but when I heard the following statistic, I was floored. Maybe I'm not nearly as average as I think.

According to a survey: The Average adult now has 90 online accounts. Let that soak in for just a minute. 9-0. Nearly a hundred! It was then that I knew that I am definitely not average, just a tad below, I believe.

I started marking down online accounts that I know that I have or have access to, and the number is bigger than I would have originally thought. I'll show you mine if you will take my poll!

Credit cards, mine and his: 8
Bank accounts: 3
Utilities, Water, Electricity, Gas, Internet: 5
Streaming services: 4
Shopping: 5
Work: 5-6, we'll go with 6
Email: 2
Tax preparation: 2
Ones that I'm pretty sure I have, but couldn't remember at the moment: 3 for good measure!

So, my total is approximately 35, give or take. I guess that would make me only a third average. But wait, there's more to the survey, and this is where I shine!

The survey continues to say that 25 percent of those polled use the SAME password for every online account! Shame on you! Or, good for you! I have different passwords, but I can NEVER remember them unless the computer automatically saves them for me! Thank goodness for the browsers that have a save password option. But, don't you go get a new computer, then try to log on to those accounts. It can't be done! For memory purposes, it is certainly more convenient to keep the same password, but I'm sure security personnel would tell you that that is not the best option. So the poll will have two questions, 1) How many online accounts do you have?, and 2) Do you use the same password for all of your accounts!

Please don't give us that password!
