Significant hail threat today! Plus damaging winds.

Although there's a very low tornado potential, a big threat still looms with today's storms. These storms will bring with them a significant hail threat, specifically to the yellow shaded areas above. Also, damaging winds will sweep down the plains. And us Oklahomans know that strong winds can often cause more damage than tornadoes.

But hail seems to be the biggest concern with today's storm. The NOAA has outlined a hatched region that includes most of Oklahoma.

This hatched region is where we could see significantly larger hail, possibly more than golf ball sized hail. So it's a good idea to get those vehicles under some shelter this afternoon!

Oklahoma's Infamous Haunted Grisso Mansion

While you've heard spooky tales of Oklahoma's haunted places, this Seminole, OK home might be THE most haunted place in the Sooner State.

Sporting four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a ballroom, and 11,000 square feet of living space, you too could have your own up-close experience with the woman and child ghosts that are rumored to still be wandering the villa today.

What To Know When Moving To Oklahoma

Against popular in-state belief, Oklahoma is currently growing. In fact, the Sooner State has been steadily growing for the last thirty-ish years. We haven't had a population dip since the mid-90s.

As of 2023, native-born and adopted Okies now make up a wolfpack of over 4 million people, and if trends continue, we'll just keep adding new residents to the mix. Whether Americans are coming to Oklahoma for a more cost-effective lifestyle or just for work, here are a few things they can expect when they get here.
