Weezer's 'Buddy Holly' video was a mid-90's instant classic. It was pop, but it was heavy. Crushing riffs, bubblegum lyrics, and they did all of this before Metallica made it unpopular in the 00's. But the video was the real driver behind some of their success.

In a time before photoshop and aftereffects, programmers managed to put this all together with film, video, and Windows 95. Even more amazing, it still holds up today. Sure, it's not super crisp, but nothing back then was. The colors still play together well even though there was twenty years between footage. The meshing of the two sources are a little easier to identify now, but it still looks epic. Long live whatever genre you classify this as.
