Medicine Park Has Had The Last Trout Stocking Of The Season

If you haven't been yet, or wanting one last chance, the SWOK Fisheries has stocked Medicine Creek for the last time this season. While it may be a tad somber to think your trout dreams are coming to a close soon, there is something to consider on the positive. This weekend, not only are we expecting amazing weather... it's a full moon weekend.

Now you may not believe in the solunar calendar fishing forecasts as much as the next guy, but over the years, it seems pretty spot on to me. The moon influences so much on this planet in terms of wildlife and water, I subscribe to the idea that it also can be used to predict if and when fish will be biting. If you don't believe, don't. But you'd be a fool to not get out and cast a line this weekend. The solunar forecast says it should be successful.
