Youth soccer star turned OSU Cowboy basketball player Mason Cox just became the first American-born and raised athlete to score in an Aussie-Rules AFL game down under. Never mind that it was the first game he's played in.

Hailing from Flower Mound, Texas, Cox grew up playing soccer. Later in his college years, he ended up a four year walk-on with the OSU Cowboys basketball program in Stillwater, having never played b-ball before. Fast forward later in life, he moves to Australia, picks up rugby as his new sport, and makes history in his first pro appearance. Stunning, I know.

Even though Australia's all gun-grabby and junk, I'll still rep a little 'Pistol's Firing' action to Mason... He earned last weekend.
