As Clint Eastwood said in Dirty Harry: "You've got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya' punk?" Oklahoma could sure use a little luck of the Irish this St. Patrick's Day. A new survey from ranks Oklahoma as one of the unluckiest states in the U.S. As a matter of fact it's number 3 in the top 10 list of the unluckiest states according to the website. The survey ranks all 50 states and how they compare when it comes to pure dumb luck. The top and bottom of the list may surprise you.

So exactly how does one rank each state by how lucky or unlucky they are? The Survey used all kinds of factors including: how likely you are to win the lottery, unemployment rates, the average life expectancy, job opportunities, the average individual income of citizens, car and weather fatalities and the overall healthiness of the state. As it turns out Oklahoma could use some luck, more like a lot of luck. Only Alabama and Mississippi were considered more unlucky than us. See all the results and check out the map!

I guess some places, maybe even states, really are luckier than others. Most of us, even if we don't want to admit it, have a lucky something. You know a lucky shirt, coin, rock or charm, something you wear or carry that brings you good luck. We might want to double up on these items and hope our luck changes n the very near future. Whatever your plans are this St. Patrick's Day I hope you have a good one. Stay safe, drink responsibly and if you call Oklahoma home, whatever you do, don't do anything that may worsen your luck!
