A recent study that NiceRX.com conducted revealed the average life expectancy for each state. It ranks them from 1 to 50 or best to worst. According to the report Hawaii, Washington, and Minnesota are the top 3.
Those 3 states have the longest life expectancy in the U.S. So where is Oklahoma in all of this? Unfortunately, the Sooner State was ranked at #43 which is in the bottom 10 of the list. Our avenge life span is 74.1 years.

Another interesting finding from the study found that the average lifespan between women and men has widened as well. Your top 3 states are listed above, here are the bottom 3 according to the study. Louisiana, West Virginia, and Mississippi. The reports show longer life spans on both the east and west coasts. Whereas states in the south and midwest had the lowest. A lot of different factors within the region help determine the results.
Still with an average life span of 74.1 in Oklahoma that isn't terrible, at least when compared to Mississippi anyway. So just like diet, exercise, lifestyle, genetics, and other health factors, where you live also helps determine just how long you'll live. At least your average lifespan anyway. Maybe I'll retire in Hawaii.
