It's hard to believe this Sunday will be Easter, time flies when you're having fun. I'm looking forward to it and all the candy. I mean can you really call it Easter without a chocolate bunny or two? Or Peeps and jelly beans.

Chocolate Easter Bunny in a Basket with Assorted Candy

Now don't get me wrong I love hard-boiled eggs, especially deviled eggs, but out of all the Easter treats and candies, I don't think it would rank in the top 5 for me. Coming in at number 2 is jelly beans, at least that one makes sense. The third most popular Easter treat or candy is Peeps and the chocolate bunny is fourth.

In Oklahoma, Peeps are the most popular Easter candy or treat. I've never been a fan of Peeps, even with all the new crazy flavors that are out now. Even so, the animal-shaped, marshmallow and sugar-encrusted holiday icon is the Sooner state's favorite. Take a look at the map by clicking here to see what the most popular Easter treat or candy is in each state. Whatever your plans are I hope you have a Happy Easter!
