Song Lyrics Told By Google Predictive Text
Everybody has at least one friend that enjoys the music so much that they don't even need to know the words to jam along with their own random lyrics. For my friends, I'm that guy. I've been teased about it since middle school, and I get the argument. How can a person that loves music, plays music, and writes music be so unconcerned about song lyrics? I've never looked at the meaning behind a tune, the hidden message, the inspiration, etc... I just love a good beat, a catchy hook, and a solid chorus that doesn't get overused to makeup for crappy verses... so what if Google was tasked with determining lyrics?
If you've used Google ever, you know that by the time you type your first or second word, the predictive text suggestions pop up to help shorten the time it takes you to find the information you're looking for. It's a big help a lot of the time, but not all of the time. So this guy Billy Cobb took song lyrics, popped them into Google's search, and whatever the tech-giant came up with, he adopted as original lyrics.
We have no idea how old Cher really is...
If you've spent more than a minute or two on social media, you've probably seen something similar... ie - Type your name then click predictive text until you form a sentence... It's fun, for instance, while I'm sure it's different for everyone based on your search history and what not, if you typed "Why does" into Google, it'd probably give you at least one insane common search phrase people around the world are seeking. Play with it a bit. It's a good time waster.
