Ash Williams usually isn’t one to arrive early, but fans of Ash Vs. Evil Dead are in for a treat. Not only does Season 2 have an official October premiere date, nearly a full month earlier than last year, but so too do we have fresh images and key art from the new season.

Lucky attendees of Comic-Con 2016 got to see the full blood-spattered Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2 premiere for themselves, but what of us at home? Bruce Campbell may not have earned the Emmy recognition we hoped for, but Ash Vs. Evil Dead has no less reason to celebrate. A new full-length, blood-soaked trailer for Season 2 has arrived ahead of Comic-Con 2016, as Ash’s Jacksonville retirement comes to a gruesome end. Hail to the king once more, baby!

We’ve seen Ash Vs. Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell boomstick it to The Walking Dead once before, and ol’ Groovy Bruce isn’t lying low while we wait for Season 2. The erstwhile Fargo and Evil Dead star took a playful jab at Batman v. Superman as well, and let’s face it, we’d all surrender more cash to add Ash Williams and a chainsaw into the mix.

The first season of Starz’s Ash Vs. Evil Dead didn’t end with our beloved aging Lothario stockboy conquering his titular enemy (it’d be a short show if he did), instead taking an unexpected trip down south. Not Hell, but close! Starz’s Ash Vs. Evil Dead earned itself a groovy Season 2 pickup before the first run even premiered, and now Bruce Campbell is already dusting off the chainsaw again. Joining Ash this year will be none other than cameo mainstay Ted Raimi, along with The Six Million Dollar Man himself, Lee Majors, in roles key to Ash’s childhood.
