That Time 65k+ Fans Sang The Bohemian Rhapsody
People don't go to concerts to hear music. Especially in a day where we, as a species, have every song ever made in out pockets. That's not what concerts are about. Don't get me wrong, live music is a huge bonus to any event, but it's not why people go.
Every concert is a chance to live free. Free from the everyday stresses, freedom from your job. A few hours where you can sing as loud as you want, dance as goofy as you want, and join in with strangers looking to have that same experience. No reports, no deadlines, just free. It's moments like that above that make normal, everyday things something more. Something intangible. Hard to describe. I can't tell you how many times you or I have sang a little Queen. And after hearing it in that one moment, you and I may never hear it the same again.
