The entire Sharknado franchise is now streaming on Amazon Prime! Not only that they have several Asylum movies to pick from as well. If you're running out of binge and streaming options I would highly suggest checking them out. Especially if you're a B-Horror film fan like me.

This weekend I plan to indulge myself with a creature feature marathon. Only the greatest B-Horror titles, the badder the better! Depending on who you ask, I have incredible taste in movies, but I can also clear out the entire living room in seconds when selecting personal favorites that rank high in the "You have to see this" category. I love horror movies and B-Horror even more. I grew up on Elvira Mistress of the Dark and other horror host shows that played the most god awful films. I guess it just stuck.

Sharknado will always have a special place in my memory and bookshelf. If you've never seen it or any of the sequels you're missing out. It's just great fun with way over the top action, dialogue, comedy and gore. I mean really, it's a movie about a shark tornado, it doesn't get any better than that! The Asylum studios are without a doubt the greatest B-Horror film markers of our generation.

For me it's great to watch something with zero meaning and completely devoid of underlying social tones and messages. Just wholesome, quality, family entertainment with blood, guts, gore and ridiculous, completely unbelievable action and scenarios. I like taking a break. putting something on, not thinking and just enjoy some hilariously fake gratuitous violence. Tune in, drop out.

I'd suggest doing the same and Prime has some great films from The Asylum studios in cluding: Sharknado 1-6, Mega Shark Vs. Mecha Shark, 5 Headed Shark Attack, Zoombies, Lavalantula, Mega Shark Vs. Crocosaurus and many more. Enough for an entire weekend of creature feature fun!
