Last night in the suburbs of Chicago, the trombone choir of Northwestern University had the opportunity to play the anthem before NWU's ballgame. Given, all students attending the NW Bienen School of Music are unbelievable going in, I don't think anybody in attendance expected to be moved. You see, the trombone is historically a comical instrument. Loved by high school clowns for the unlimited jokes.

While it starts with a heavy, somber gate, they finish incredibly strong with a version of our national anthem I've never heard before. If you've got ear buds, you might pop those in just for good measure.

If you'd like to see this group of talented people do their thing in person, take a trip to Chi-Town... Their next event is in March.
