Having never watched a single NASCAR event on television, I can distinctly remember walking out of the RIO 6 Theater in Beeville, Texas having witnessed Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. The thought in my mind was "I bet people will be hacked off at Will Ferrell for his impression of NASCAR" to which my other NASCAR loving better half really enjoyed it. Having seen plenty of music movies that parodied radio and such, I thought everyone had a pretty good sense of humor about it. I had no idea it was a stylized documentary.

It wasn't until YouTube became a popular platform online, letting everyone the world over get a small glimpse here and there how things actually are. Nothing scripted, real world occurrences. Granted, this clip is from the height of NASCAR popularity, so the hilarity may be skewed.
