Tulsa’s Oktoberfest Voted #1 In The Nation
While most towns across Oklahoma host some kind of Oktoberfest or fall festival every year, they’re usually not what you’d call “authentic.”
In my hometown, it’s more of a mix between a craft show and a beer tasting... Oklahoma versions of German food, imported sample beers, Scentsy booths, and maybe a spin on the old astronaut gyroscope ride.
It ends up being less of a festival and more of a “come spend money on stuff” type of event.
That’s not the case in Tulsa.
Tulsa Oktoberfest completely transforms the event grounds into a Munich-style Biergarten, packed with food, beer, music, and plenty of traditional games and activities.
Sure, you’ll still find excuses to spend money, that comes with any festival, but that’s far from the only draw.
The Tulsa event has earned its reputation, and while it consistently ranked among the top festivals in the U.S., it has officially been ranked as the #1 Oktoberfest in America...
Would you expect any less? Even visitors from Europe often say it feels just like stepping into Munich itself.
If you get the chance, make the short trip to T-Town and take it all in this year. Details are available on the Tulsa Oktoberfest Facebook page.
