Ask your doctor and he'll tell you, you shouldn't Google your symptoms online. If you've ever done it, you already know why. Doesn't matter what it is, there are so many shared symptoms of so many different health issues that I'd wager that 99 out of 100 times, the internet gives you really bad news.

You could be experiencing a particularly bad cold, and the curious will put their phone down convinced they have tuberculosis and cancer. Not "or"... "and." Even worse, even the small stuff will have you thinking you've developed an autoimmune disease.

If that wasn't bad enough, here's the truth about searching the web for health symptoms... Naturally, people automatically think the worst when it comes to health. So when you click around the web, just reading the unrelated "could be" issues tied to a specific and very general symptom can give you enough anxiety to make you feel even worse. That's why you're not supposed to Google symptoms.

If you're not feeling well, don't just go to 'A' doctor... Go see your doctor. If you don't have one, find one. A general practitioner or family doctor that you can get familiar with. One who will eventually learn your family history and your personality quirks. That way when you walk in convinced you have cholera, they'll know you've just been an internet searching idiot, hit you with a B-12 shot and get you back out the door feeling like a million bucks.
