You may have heard all the rumors. Well, it's true it's returning! After closing down in 2006 we've waited 15 plus long years to finally get the Bell's Amusement Park back. That's right Bell's will be building an all-new amusement park in Broken Arrow, OK. and it will be 10 times bigger than the original location!

The new Bell's Amusement Park will be located on over 100 acres in east Broken Arrow on the south side of Kenosha Street near the Creek Turnpike. The new park will feature some of your old favorites like the Zingo rollercoaster, log ride, the Himalayan, and the Phantasmagoria. The new Bells will also have a kiddie park, high-speed go-carts, and a huge water park that will be one of the biggest and best in this part of the country.

The original Bell's Amusement Park opened back in 1951 and was the place to go in Oklahoma for some family fun for over 50 years until it shut down. If you've lived in Oklahoma for a while, at least before 2006, or are a born and raised Okie you're probably familiar with the Bell family and the amusement park. Hit play on the video below and watch the official press conference that was held in Broken Arrow.

Now, it will take some time to get Bell's back up and running. There's no official opening date at this time and the park will take years to complete. From what they're saying it will be done in phases and once those sections are done hopefully opened. It will take a few years for the entire project to be complete, but well worth the wait. After all, we've waited 15 plus years for this day to happen and it's been announced.

You can stay up to date with all the latest news and progress on the Bell's Amusement Park official Facebook page. You can also read the official press release on the city of Broken Arrow's website. I can't wait for them to get started and reopened! We'll keep you posted and as soon as we hear anything we'll be sure to let you know. I plan on being one of the first to take a ride on the Zingo rollercoaster!
