DIY Project of the Week – The Stark Creations ‘Ironman’ Knife

As you'll see flipping through the build process above, you might notice, this isn't the first Stark knife you've seen floating around the web. Ben Stark is a certified bad**s.

The best part about this learning process, the foundry work isn't required. You can build this from the same stock metal you find on Amazon. You can also do this with cheap hand tools. ('cheap' only in the sense that the proper power tools can run you a few grand. Honestly, don't buy cheap tools.) You'll need a few nice files, scrap wood, and eye bolt, sandpaper, patience, and a quick google tutorial on how to build a file jig.

That being said, your first few hundred goes at something like this will most likely turn out nothing like a Stark knife. Simply put, you have to put in the time to learn how to sculpt the vision in your mind.
