Texoma News Crew Had A Fight On Live TV
Even though towns like Lawton, Oklahoma, and Wichita Falls, Texas have decent populations, you can't deny they're still small towns at heart. News travels fast when drama happens in the public eye, but because we live in our own media bubble, the rest of the state doesn't usually get to be in on the drama.
Example: Lawton is stuck in a vacuum when it comes to news media. We don't get the flashy and professional channels in OKC down here. It's weird. Duncan gets OKC. Altus gets OKC. Snyder gets OKC... But Lawton gets Wichita Falls stations. It's not that the stations are bad, they're just not as, how do you say, polished...
All the same, the constantly rotating staff has provided some seriously hilarious ordeals over the years.
What Did She Say?
It's hard to believe it was nearly a decade ago, but one newscaster accidentally dropped an expletive live on air. It was hilarious.
If you've been on the internet for a while, you've probably also seen Texoma's famous "I So Pale" news anchor too...
The latest bit of reality entertainment from the KFDX team was letting us all in on the tensions at the newsdesk.
After local meteorologist Michael Bowling delivered his forecast, evening anchor Carney Porter got caught not paying attention. The two shared some escalating words, and I'm pretty sure they shared all of their off-camera friction with everyone watching.

@savannah_1483 What just happened!?! That was a SPICY exchange for the 10 o'clock news!! #texhomahomepage ♬ original sound - Savannah Nicole
It was hilarious, because we all have at least one coworker you can relate a situation like this to.
Now, I'm almost sure the station manager has set these two down to set boundaries between what is acceptable and professional on air, but I also think if more shenanigans like this were allowed and encouraged to happen, being stuck with Wichita Falls/Lawton news channels wouldn't be so bad.
