I know what you're thinking "You've got to be kidding, another car wash...WTF?" Yep, Lawton, Fort SIll is getting yet another car wash. Great, it's just what we needed! It will be located on the corner of Ferris Avenue and Sheridan Road, the old BancFirst location. The new All-American Super Car Wash will be coming soon!

It's going to be super convenient having it on the corner of Ferris and Sheridan. It will be in between the other two or three car washes in that area. There are other carwashes being built on N.W. Sheridan Road. There's one going into the old Wolverton location on the corner of Sheridan and Erwin. Click here for all the details.

Then there's another car wash that is being talked about that will be right up the road at 1503 N. Sheridan Road near the new Sonic Drive-in and China Wok. Click here for details. That one isn't 100% confirmed yet, but it's looking like it will happen. So basically 3 new car washes are coming to Sheridan Road, awesome!

This is in addition to the 2 or 3 car washes we already have on Sheridan Road. Thank God, we almost had to drive more than a block to get to the next car wash. Just how many car washes does one town need? We have to have the cleanest vehicles in the state, hell the country with as many car washes as we have.

It's been the running joke that every time someone breaks ground somewhere in Lawton everyone just assumes it's another car wash. To be fair that's been pretty accurate, at least lately it has been. While it's certainly a good thing anytime a new business decides to open up in Lawton, it's just disappointing that all we seem to get is car washes. Well, that and dispensaries. Maybe we'll get a car wash with a dispensary!

Just imagine pulling into 'Buds & Suds' or how about 'Wash & Weed?' Not a fan of those? Okay, there's 'Dope & Soap' or you could call it 'Pot Scrubber.' Oh God, I've put that into the universe so if it does happen I'm to blame. I wonder when the madness will end. When will we finally have enough car washes in Lawton, OK?
