iPad Air vs Airsoft MP7

Is it just me, or is technology constantly slipping in durability with every new generation? Honestly, it blows my mind that smartphones still crack when you drop them. Can they not invent a new plastic polymer that works like glass, yet is as durable as a Glock? Case and point, this guy throws dirt, concrete, water, airsoft pellets, and the .50BMG at the latest iPad.

Now I'm not saying that we need a .50BMG proof iPhone, but they have a case for it... But I would hope they could put out something that could withstand a three foot fall to soft dirt...

Hell, this old battle axe of a Nokia survived this catastrophe!
