Oklahoma Walmart Customers Angry Over New Policies

Some big changes have taken place in Walmart's policies and guidelines recently that have left customers frustrated and angry. The new rules may or may not apply to you depending on your current shopping habits.

For some customers, it could have them paying more at the register and for fewer items. It's been over six years since Walmart updated this policy and now it has officially taken effect at Walmart stores everywhere.

So what are these changes to Walmart's guidelines and policies that have some customers so upset? Well, they just recently updated their coupon policies and for some people, those changes are going to be costly.

WALMART'S NEW COUPON POLICIES & GUIDELINES ARE NOW IN EFFECT

Walmart was one of the few remaining retailers and grocers that allowed all kinds of coupon combinations and techniques. Well, that's all coming to an end, at least for those who practice extreme couponing.

Walmart will no longer offer cashback to customers using coupons. This means if an item costs less than a coupon's discount the remaining balance will not be given to the customer or applied to other purchases.

NO MORE CASHBACK OR OVERRIDES WHEN USING COUPONS AT WALMART

Another significant change that Walmart has made is there will no longer be overrides at the register for customers using coupons. Meaning if your coupon isn't accepted by the register itself it will not be applied.

You'll still be able to use paper and printed coupons at Walmart with certain restrictions

Another change Walmart has made to its coupon rules is limiting the number of identical coupons to 1 per customer/purchase. Also, Walmart is restricting coupons that are the exact same to 4 per household per day.
