Rocklahoma 2024 Started With Flooded Pits and Closed Gates

For more than a decade, the only drawback to Rocklahoma was the Memorial Day scheduling. If you've ever been to the festival, you already know, it rains and storms at least one day of the weekend every year.

The simple solution was to move the event to a different weekend, and they did. Labor Day Weekend has been the official Rocklahoma timeframe for a few years now, but Oklahoma proved that you can't ever trust the weather.

After a usually dry and scorchingly hot summer, the skies opened up over Pryor to remind concert-goers that Rocklahoma still belongs to the weather. On what is normally a dry and uncomfortably hot weekend, the concert grounds and parts of the campsites flooded on day one.

Fortunately for everyone trying to end their summer on a high note, while there is a chance of showers on day two of the festival, it shouldn't turn into anything quite like they had on day one.
