It's been confirmed now that the Stripes convenience store located on the corner of 38th Street and Gore Boulevard in Lawton, Fort Sill will be closing permanently. Let's all hope a car wash doesn't end up being built there.

Sadly another business is closing its doors in Lawton, Fort Sill. Party City in Cache Road Square is going-out-of-business and will close permanently soon. Get up to 40% off everything in the store while the inventory lasts.

Remembering some of the very best stores, restaurants, and other businesses in Lawton, Fort Sill that we all wish were still open. If you've been here a while you'll know most, if not all of these places and I'm sure miss them as much as we do.

Sadly another business in Lawton, Fort Sill is closing. The Sara Lee Bread Store located at 2701 S.W. Lee Blvd is closing it's doors for good. While there isn't a whole lot of details on the closing, we're pretty sure the COVID-19 pandemic and shutdowns had a lot to do with it. We've lost count as far as how many businesses here in town have had to shut their doors permanently due to the virus.

Remain calm, all's well, there's certainly no need to panic. Yes, the Chick-fil-A on Cache road has closed temporarily due to COVID-19 exposure, but will re-open soon. Maybe as soon as next week, or the week after. We wish all involved and the entire staff at Chick-fil-A on Cache all the best and a speedy return!

An official statement hasn't been made yet, but we're hearing that the Kay Jewelers store at the Central Mall in Lawton will be closing. It's been shut down for months now when the COVID-19 pandemic started and has remained closed ever since. Here at the office we have several people who have made recent purchases, have jewelry on lay-away, items that are currently being cleaned or repaired. They've shared with us that Kay will be closing.

Fort Sill will have delayed opening for the next few days. The AAFES Exchange at the intersection of Sheridan Road and Mow-Way Road will remain open 24/7. (More details follow)

According to Clint Wagstaff, Comanche County Emergency Management, Commissioner Johnny Owens has officially closed the Comanche County Court House offices for Wednesday, December 26th.  The closing is being issued for the safety of the citizens and county employees...
