Yesterday evening we heard the feel-good story about a mysterious couple who "paid it forward" in a BIG WAY and left a BIG TIP at Leo & Kens in Lawton, OK. The anonymous couple paid for everyone's meal at the restaurant and before leaving they tipped the restaurant staff several thousand dollars.

The old rumor mill has been churning lately about a possible Lawton business opening up in the old Santa Fe Cattle Company location on N.W. Cache Road. It shut down years ago and has been an empty space for a really long time. Well, that's all about to change!

Lawton, Fort Sill has a brand new restaurant, Phillyhoma just recently opened for business. They're located in the old Crockett's BBQ building at 1508 W. Gore Blvd.

You may, or may not have heard all the rumors about Chick-Fil-A in the Central Plaza in downtown Lawton closing down, but it's true. Sadly they'll be closing this Friday (12-31-21) permanently. Time is running out and so is the food so if you haven't said your goodbyes yet you'll want to stop by ASAP while you still can.
